4 door console shift on the road running with new inspection sticker. Showed up on CL and Facebook Marketplace in Maine. 1969 Plymouth Furyiii NOT MINE
The console on the floor isn’t functional. It’s a column shift still. Totally there for props. The buckets and console are in fact out of a Cordoba like somebody mentioned.
The steering was tight but it had something wrong about it. It felt cheap??? It turn and cornered tight and nicely but it just had small squeaks and creaks. Something that made me feeling I was riding in a Saturn. Something a C-Body shouldn’t feel like. The engine ran smoothly. No clicks, ticks, rattling. The owner insists the 318 is stock but I doubt that. That engine has way more hop than my ‘70 Fury with a 318. Mine may be a little bit more tired, but not to this level. The exhaust has a thick and throaty sound, reminiscent of glasspacks, but when I checked underneath it has 2 mufflers. Whoever bent and did the exhaust did a nice job. Maybe straight throughs. Warning - the seller has absolutely no idea what he has, so if you go and want to find out info on the car, you’re on your own.
I was ready to buy it. He let me know his bottom dollar is $4000.
