Were those wheel covers an option on C-bodies? I've only seen them on Chargers. They look really good on that car.

Looks like a good deal on a clean, unmolested car.

Sooooo......are you tempted Scott?????
Just one more.....pant.....pant....
It looks like a decent buy, just can't find many without rusty quarters though. It would complete the full size line up for my '66 fleet! I'll call and ask for more info, but I doubt this one's coming back to Minnesota. But I have to chase it, just a little.

MMMmmmmm a hardtop to match my convertible! Something to put air shocks, mags and a sure grip rear in!

Let me know if you want it looked at.

Dang! If I had money, I'd have a complete 1966 Dodge Full Size car line up! Just talked to the owner, Rich, and got some info on the car. Standard fare for a '66 Dodge, some rust in both quarters, some small spots in the front fenders, a 50 cent size hole in the trunk, a running, driving 383 2 barrel with new master cylinder and some hard times replaced, bad front seat cover, and working tilt and telescopic steering column. Could be had for cheap, at least what I'd consider cheap. I'd sell my '68 Monaco 500 to get this, and have my fleet completed (so long as I stay away from wagons). I'm not going to sleep for some time now....

If all the FCBO members threw in a dollar, Scott would have enuf $$ to buy this, have it shipped to Minnesota AND but a gas tank! Let that sit in for a minute.......:)
We CAN save the world one MoPar at a time....

Just took a closer look at the pics and figured out the location. I know the guy that owns it.

Also, just realized it's a Monaco, not a Polara.

He told me a number, I'm motivated and willing to part with a car...

I stopped and looked at it today. It's rougher than the pics, but it's a moot point because it sold today for $2500. He dropped to $1700 and two guys got in a bidding war and it went for $2500.

Must have been a pretty car when new though!

DAMN! I still like mine, which I drove home for $1400, then got an extra 4 wheels thrown in. All told, 1966 seems to be the zenith of Mopar quality. Rugged, simple, yet luxurious too when wanted. Later stuff showed plenty innovations yes, but for overall rock solid great cars, I say the 1966 C bodies were the all time peak for Detroit rolling steel.
