Polara got hit

Az you should be upset. Hope you grabbed your neck and screamed out in Pain. I just got ah check from the SOBs insurance company that tail-ended me last January. I'm sure he got spanked again for my pain 'n suffering after the 3 point ticket AND the fine for hitting me. And that waz in my 2000 Caravan. I even got my pealing roof re-painted on that fix because I found the replacement hatch and bumper in ah bone yard 25 miles away from A 2000 Voyager of the same color. We ole guyz lived this long and didn't get this old by being stupid. Jer

That really sucks, but let's hope the insurance does the right thing.

a 91 year old did this to my p/u , doing a illegal u turn . i she said i hit her . with the side of my p/u and ripped the front bumper off her p/u down too the frame horns . i'm good but not that good . oh ya she pushed my p/u sideways all the way acrossed the street and up and over the curb on the opposite side of the city street . it was a nice 64 d100 old oem paint patina'd , tuogh to find vintage hot rod , sorry to say thats been wreck'd away . so now resto or replace . people should drive like they most pull the repair cost from their own pockets . things would be different , her insurer say it was only worth 5400 bucks and totaled out , i kept it but now it got a salvage on the tittle . so its the courts for me to get this straightened out . what a bunch of crap because of the another drivers carelessness . i guess you can say i'm getting or got it just put in my life , and are a bit bitter over it .

Unfortunately the insurance lapsed last week and was gonna get it renewed next week on payday. I'm friends with who hit it so we settled up. It was an honest mistake so i'm not super mad, just disappointed. I got the doors taken care of with a dent puller this morning. They aren't perfect but hard to tell now other than the rocker being pushed in a bit. The car was nowhere near perfect before this happened, just mostly an original driver with a few tiny ding and dents. I'm very impressed with how well it held up.

My 66 Polara got rear ended and pushed into a phone pole. Luckily not as bad as I had first thought. I'm still very upset though.

UGHHHHHHHH! Everyone's NIGHTMARE especially here in NJ where driving is SECOND to sanity?:wtf: Hope you're ok and that the car can be repaired to your satisfaction. Sadly, this is a huge reason why I am loathe to drive my cars much, but what's the sense of having them if you can't drive them? We're all in the same situation. Keep us posted and good luck. Wondering what the idiot behind was doing...on his/her phone? That is SOOOOOO common around here and the lack of respect for property, cars or otherwise, is symptomatic of a greater problem these days....

Wishing YOU and the car better days!

Just saw the post about the repair and the person who hit you.....glad things are looking better....

Glad you're OK. It's OK to be worried about it and upset as I'm certain you have more than just money into the car, right? With any luck you might already know a good shop to do the repairs. Hope you didn't snap your neck too hard when you took the hit.

You do realize that if you had renewed yer insurance on time, the accident would never have happened. Don't you ?

That just hurts. I know it can be repaired and I try to be the big person and say as long as your ok. BUT, if it was me, I would be worried about my bp and having a stroke dealing with the aggravation of getting it back to where it was. You are definitely calmer than I would be. Hopefully all works out smoothly for you
