Been looking for the right 61 Fury to buy that was original and in my price range and I finally found one. Delivered today and is a one owner with 38K showing that the owner says is original but even if it's not the car is soooo nice. All interior parts are original and present and working even the am radio, all the interior dash lights work and the engine has been gone through and several maintenance items have been completed making this a ready to ride daily driver for me. Paint issues throughout but again, for me it's not a big deal. Extra chrome parts in the trunk which is nice! Floats nicely down the road with the 318 and push button transmission are working flawlessly. I couldn't be more excited to finally have a 61 back in my driveway.

What a cool *** car man!! Congrats to you she is a real beauty. Enjoy but being a daily driver watch out for the fricken morons with huge SUV's on their cell phones and drugs. Better get Maaco doesn't apply here.

Don't care what anybody says, the 57 to 62 rooflines of 4 door hardtops are soo cool.
Sexier than some 2 door hardtops.
Congrats on the very nice score!

Thank you everybody. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning with this car. Just sat in it in the driveway for a few mins. just appreciating the moment. My grandfather owned a Fury and that is really how it all began for me.

Beautiful car in nice condition. It is always encouraging when you get a car that runs well without going through a bunch of repairs to enjoy it - i.e. well sorted out. I fully agree that the roofline on those 4 door hardtops were so much nicer than the standard ones - makes all the difference between a somewhat homely look vs. a stylish one. Enjoy!

Wow!! What a pretty car! Love the color combination. I hope you have many happy miles and make a lot of good memories in it.

I feel like I stole it but I paid the full asking price. I found $3500 of receipts in the glove detailing the work over the last 12 months. I'm still pinching myself that I was able to find and make this purchase. The lines on the Hard Top are super nice. Chrome is in really great condition and it fires right up and idles nicely. No known negatives however, my wife still has a few issues with me :( buying this Fury. Hopefully she'll come around soon.....

Thanks, I agree. I passed on a similar 61 Fury that came up at auction but it wasn't the hardtop and it just didn't catch my eye like this one did.
