1971 Challenger Convertible

I sorta doubt it is an original 6pak 4spd car...
In the text poster states is a "4speed" ...
Yet in the side listing states "automatic" ...
The pic shows 4spd shifter..
If it were a real 6pak 4spd car would have a dana 60 under the rear...

The biggest engine you could get in a ‘71 vert was an N code 383-4bbl and there were no JS27 cars for that year just JH27.

No R/T designation on a Challenger convertible in 71. Thats why Matt's is not a R/T. This is no way a original or rare car, cool car, but not original.

I hope they got the 65K they were looking for!:D

Doesn't seem like a terrible price. About five years ago we sold an absolute rot-bucket, 318 powered, 71 Challenger convertible at Carlisle for $11,000. This car needed the total AMD treatment. The only salvageable metal was the windshield frame and the inner 1/4 panel structure where the convertible top mechanisms mount. The rest was junk. Needed full interior, mechanicals, tires, chrome, etc. It went to Detroit and was quickly put back up for sale once the buyer realized the big mistake that he made. Comparing the two, $65K is a bargain.
