Very cool building with a very eclectic selection of cars.

They even had a car show outside the museum today. Some interesting cars you don't see every day.

They are also partnered with Hagerty Insurance to do a school for people to learn to work on older cars.

If you are still in the area a must see is the Boeing Museum.
I was able to make it over there on Friday, very cool, pictures I had seen of the factory floor, really don't capture the huge scope of the.building.
 
It's been some time since I last read about this collection while the founder was still alive and opening his collection once a year IIRC for a large celebration. Should have been what is called the Marymount collection I guess.
 
i believe i read his story in cars + parts. he had 5-6000 cars in various states of repair at that point.
no such thing as a poor garbage company owner :)
 
Harold LeMay used to pay his garbage collectors bounty's for cars they found. Great way to find cars to buy.
