I've been searching this site and google, but can't seem to figure out how to decode the fender tag on my "brand new" 1966 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door hard top. Also tried some decoder web sites, but they seem to be geared toward Plymouth/Dodge muscle cars or other years. I give up: Would anybody be willing to help me decode it?

I went to the stock mopar site, and apparently they've discontinued that service. They still have a decoder for 1969 through 1974 fender tags, but not for earlier cars.
Do you have the build sheet for the car? The build sheet has the 3 digit numeric codes for the options.
You can down load the FSM for the car from www.mymopar.com. The FSM is found in the tool/reference section. The FSM gives some information on how the tag is laid out.

The Dodge Charger decoder came up with an answer that looks very close to what's sitting in the driveway. Thanks! (Always wanted a 5.5W Astrophonic De Luxe!)
My wife just came in and saw the decoded build sheet screen. She suggested I do a full restoration since the car is so complete. I'm a very fortunate man.

I don't know if you have done any digging around in interior of your car yet, but I found my build sheet between the springs in the rear seat-back of my car. If it is there, it is likely VERY fragile and should be handled with great care when removing it.

anything about rear window defogger? it had 1 rear seat speaker not 2 i seen no wiring harness but i think it as a heavy tow option but no hitch its a strange one . is the one i seen that had all th body putty all ovrer it anything about the high back buckets ? it also had the auto dhead light dimmer & a digital clock . anything mentioned bout these things
or cruise control?

ok but nouthing about use or rear defogger . wih them they use a speaker hole for the air intake & it has a center air duck outlet
all the b&c bodies metal rear package shelf has the holes stamped in them
