68 IMPERIAL CROWN COUPE MOBILE DIRECTOR 1 OF 81 BUILT IN 67&68 EXTREMELY RARE 73,000 MILES RUNS AND DRIVES NEW TANK,SENDING UNIT ,BRAKE LINES AND FFRONT CALIPERS ALL ORIGINAL CALL RON 91
7-353-4478 NO DREAMERS CALLS ONLY

Mobile Director coupes for '68 are more rare than those for '67. I'm almost cringing to see it just sitting around on a side street in Brooklyn, NY where all kinds of undesirable things could happen to it...… Can't tell much from these photos, but barring all kinds of rust, etc., underneath; it MIGHT make a good restoration candidate. Not sure I'd want to rely on "original calipers and brake lines" at this point to actually drive it though...…. Strange that calls from "dreamers" aren't permitted, as that is what they're definitely doing on that price...…….

I think his lack of punctuation is part of the problem. "NEW TANK,SENDING UNIT ,BRAKE LINES AND FFRONT CALIPERS. ALL ORIGINAL" He should have put that period in there.

Help me understand, is a 68 Imp less desireable than a Newport, Monaco, or Fury? I can't gauge a whole lot from his pictures (or lack thereof) but I didn't think they were aiming too high... but I'm no expert.

"desirable" depends on a lot of things. Price-wise, Monacos/Furies often fetch higher prices than comparable Imps of the same era. Going by the photos here (corroded front bumper, vinyl top that mostly isn't there anymore, this Crown Coupe will likely need a lot, but I might be TOO skeptical here...….maybe it's a LOT nicer in person, but hard to tell from here...….

I´ve seen 67-68 Imps of publicly less desired body styles with the same asking price, so I´d say that the 7.5K for a restorable 2dr ht is at least near the ball park.

Looks like a fair amt of rust, vinyl top has been stripped off, no interior or engine compartment photo's. And he says " no dreamers"????!!
It could be a nightmare......

Asking $7500.
It’s a mobile director allegedly but no pics of the money shot?:wtf:

I didn’t notice th first time I looked, good eye!

Hmmmmm, odd that there's no NYS inspection or registration stickers on the windshield. Rear plate doesn't look right either.
Hard to believe it's not towed away especially in NYC.
