Heater Hose Nipples

I'm running a 66 440 and I'm not having any luck locating the two heater hose nipples that screw into the water pump.

Anyone have a source?
 
Mega parts, place the order and I'll pick them up for you....lol. I'd like to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway again....
I need to visit Roy, he's a great guy!
 
I found some in the Help section some time ago, but don't have a part#. They had a hex built into them for removal with a wrench/socket.

You can also use a barbed plumbing fitting on the upper one, and a pipe nipple on the other (this is the one that blocks the bolthead).

For the pipe nipple, get a longer one and cut it so threaded one end, long enough to fit up in the hose a ways so it clamps well. You can also drill a thru-hole in it so you can tighten with a Phillips screwdriver, then the hose seals that.

All depends on how you want to do it...
