As they keep building houses right up on me. Several now practically in my back yard I have been selling off my inventory. The field that I keep the cars in is down to just this old van. I had a demo guy pick up the Ford Granada yesterday. Ive sold a few parts from it. He promised to strip it for me so I gave him the car. The developer said the Granada was sitting on the property line & came out & put up stakes & marked the ground with orange paint so I called him. We get along. He told me he has a company comming in next week to put up a privacy fence & said to just move the car off the line. I decided to make a deal with the demo guy & just get rid of it. So other than a the Dodge van & a few rear ends the field will be empty. I plan to bring in a storage building & put up one of those aluminum car ports. Things are really changing fast out here. They cleared a big piece of land outside of town on the highway. That makes 8 sub divisions. Traffic is getting crazy. In the afternoon rush hour it backs up a mile & the town is only 2 blocks long. Dump trucks, flat bed trailers loaded up with building supplies & cement mixers are everywhere. Sleepily little Youngsville is a bustling full blown urban sprawl in the making.

I had to look up Youngsville on the map. The developments are for people commuting to Raleigh? Good luck on the clean up.

Get a can of orange marking paint and move the property line back 50' back

Just like in northern Virginia, low density land use restrictions made suburban (nothing urban about it) sprawl gobble up all the land. Farmland has almost completely vanished around these parts, hope the same doesn't happen there.

That's one of the many things I hate about where we currently live. In the last 10 years our suburb has become a full blown city....

The problem with it is that crime usually follows population boom.....

I've already convinced my wife to get the hell out of Dodge....

20 years ago this area was wartime bungalows and farm fields, now it's slap em up town houses and condo's.....

I cause a traffic jam now everytime I try and back my trailer into my driveway....

End of rant..
