They started on the privacy fence today. Funny thing. At the one end they are 10 feet from the property line. They have a string up & at the other end they have the string just inches to their side of the line. The side along my right they haven’t put up a string yet. Just some stobs. Just curious why the one side is so far off the line.

Or are they building on the burm? It looks like there is some drainage cut in behind the fence.

Either way it's vinyl. I hate vinyl. Nothing like the squeak, creak, and popping of plastic in the wind.

"Good fences make good neighbours". Looks like the fence together with the trees will give you an adequate privacy screen from all the new neighbours.

While I was at the track Racing yesterday the fence crew was busy. Woke up this morning to a completed fence. Looks like I gained a 10 feet at one end & lost a couple inches at the other. I’m glad that’s done.

Squatter rights on the extra 10'?

Plastic fence, how long before the sun cooks it into a brittle hazard when the next big wind storm hits?

You must have a State Authority who worries about drainage and flooding. The ponding on your side of the wall should raise their eyebrows. Maybe take bunch of pictures after the next big rain and send them to these guys and ask if this is normal or is a larger culvert required.

Public Health might also have something to say if you show them the pictures and express concern the mosquitoes might be carrying West Nile.

Build a second fence that follows your property line exactly. This would leave a "no man's zone" where all the snakes could be "stored". Anybody bitches, "it's not my land, so it's not my problem". Maybe a gator or two back there could spice things up a bit.

Follow the rules and milk the bylaws. If nothing else it's good entertainment. Stan knows the game and has been playing like a pro with FUHOA!!

Maybe you need giant wind turbine to help with the carbon footprint!

Maybe you need a patio hi-fi with a 50,000 watt 7 channel amp with "The House of the Rising Sun" at dawn and dusk. Or maybe add a big *** flag pole and run run the Stars and Stripes every morning to 50,000 watts of reveille, who could take issue with that?

Thank you sir.

If not possible to as said above:

I believe this is a prefabbed fence. I was looking at it as they were building it. There are slots made into the plastic for it to fit together. Don’t know if there was a way to level it. I agree though the level/staggered look is better. Not my dime so unless who ever buys the lots on the other side complains then I guess that’s how it will be
