Just noticed this is the 4dr. Version; while production was split almost even between two and four doors, the four doors seem to have a lower rate of survival.

Never heard of a Newport "Cordoba." Where was it in the 1970 Chrysler lineup that year?

Your shadow isn’t dark enough to block the license plate.

Of all the 4-door models, this is the only one that does it for me. The '73 Navajo edition is a close second. Is this one going overseas?

Of course

Southern Spain would be nice.

Well, no, not Spain...
Since winter 2018 this beautiful Newport Cordoba found a new home in Northern Germany. It will be well kept and maintained. Although she was in a really good condition, much work had been done to get it road legal over here in Germany.
Being an Antique-US-tractor-guy, this is my first classic US car. After getting used to the size of this car it is now a fun and pleasure to drive.

I will post some more latest pictures of her in the garage department.

So we have what appears to be three separate owners of this car on the same thread...has that been done before on FCBO?

Congrats on the new acquisition!

You should take her on a road trip down to Andalucía and photograph her in her namesake city.

What else besides the Aztec badge makes it a Córdoba? I’m a bit lost. It’s very elegant & very gold. I suppose at the time they could have really jazzed up the interior to the point of regret. Thankfully that was a couple years later lol. That’s cool, I didn’t know that Córdoba was a package until Richardo came along.
