Sub-Division UPDATE

If you are looking for some entertainment, ask the property owner if he's trading that 10 feet for the inches his fence is over your property line at the other end. Quibbling over a few inches might seem silly now but down the road some years it could turn into a real shitshow if you or the neighbor ever decide to sell.

Only problem I see with that fence is if there is a hot chick sunbathing in the nude you'll never get to see her now.

Should be down to a Cat 2 by then. Fence may survive.
I went out & checked. I can see a little concrete dust but the fence does move more than I think it should. Like I said though not my dime. If it falls down they can put up another if they want to.

That is NOT how to erect a fence.
Cheap low bidder bastard.

I can guarantee they skipped the "Concrete must be mixed prior to pouring in hole." part. (It's the Southern way) :p

Oh and they forgot this fence (better call the EPA)

Stan has shown some nice fences, but it's a selling feature that the cheap vinyl fence is rackable... In my neighborhood, if part of the panel exceeds 6', you have to go downtown and beg for a variance... or rebuild the fence. Makes that pretty stepped fence either less than 6' or begging and pleading required.

I'm in doubt that Bob has the same level of stupidity as I have... but the fence company just tosses this crap together with the cheapest labor they can find... it should hold up for their labor warranty period and I don't hear of many successful warranty claims on the vinyl.
I believe this is a prefabbed fence. I was looking at it as they were building it. There are slots made into the plastic for it to fit together. Don’t know if there was a way to level it. I agree though the level/staggered look is better. Not my dime so unless who ever buys the lots on the other side complains then I guess that’s how it will be
Folks around here like to follow the ground contours so they can get the full 6'... the worst sin is they anchored it mostly into that berm they built... easy digging, but a weak foundation.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. That berm could was away in the next hurricane & take the fence with it

I was thinking the next flooding rainstorm... but close enough to the same thing.
We’ve had two bad rain storms & it held up pretty good. I’m surprised they haven’t soded it. Maybe they will soon

You are not alone in that respect. The upside in this installation is that it is the equivalent of an 8' fence because of the berm.

They got the lights going on one of the houses behind me. Basically in my back yard. I’ve noticed that every time they get the lights working they leave them on all night untill the House is sold. So I get to see this. They will eventually be houses all around me as they have gone to town. It’s a friggin shame is what it is.

Now would be a good time to bury a wire and get the shop some free power...
