Looks like a real manly man machine. 318 with no air, PB or PS. Is that a stock three speed shifter? Reminds me of the one in a B series van. Hope the link works. Looks pretty decent besides the seat and the trunk.

I feel sorry for the car. Was most likely a nice family car till some Douche Bag bought it.

Like to see the tag.

L@@K at the column, the D-bag worked that over also.

Could be cool, needs lots of love. May just be a parts car now.

@JD Hall, Body looks really good from what I can see. Dash looks like it could be fixed with an instrument cluster and wiring harness, or maybe just a replacement dash from a parts car.

Can't see the clutch pedal. Too bad someone F-d up the column to move the shifter to the floor. You gonna try and save it?

I'm tempted to send my mom and step dad after it. They live just south of Ft. Worth. Hmmmm....

I saw this car and recognized it.

I talked to the kid that had this car some time back and tried buying it. The dash wasn’t melted however... but he mentioned issues with the dash and I suggested he look into that before it caught fire....guess he never did.

He paid a shop a lot of money to have the shifter moved to the floor... that had already been done. Among other things that kinda jacked up a decent original car. It wasn’t a family car. His grandfather had bought it for him.

He wanted $10,000 for the car. I offered $2000 and he declined. And I see where it ended up...

If I had a grand, I'd offer that for this thing now. I drove Mathilda home for $1400, sold the wire wheels for $150 and have repaired what I could when I could, making my ride a damned reliable DAILY DRIVER over the past 3 yrs. Not bad for a 53 yr old bit of Detroit Steel owned by a bloke just a bit older.....

Seeing what I have of this one, I'd say a grand is fair.

I wanted it for the rarity of the column shift plus I really like the 70-71 Fury’s.
