Attention SW North Carolina members. Several more C Bodies will be coming to your area soon and be forewarned, two of them are not quiet.

I am happy to report that our house a/k/a our garage with a house in Connecticut sold the other day and we found out today that our offer on a house in Lincolnton has been accepted.

We have a lot of stuff to move and I will be listing parts for sale here and on eBay.

Looking forward to meeting members in the area in the fall. Not looking forward to building a garage again but it should be less expensive as I will put up a metal garage.

I need to start looking into folks who can haul multiple cars from CT to NC. Appreciate any recommendations.

Congratulations ..... I am jealous. You made a move I've been talking about for two years.

Carlisle still doable ?

Glad to hear it went smoothly on both ends. That must be a relief! Congrats!

Congratulation, I know you have had a lot going on for some time now, planning for your move. Glad you have completed the 2 big hurdles to make this happen. Like Fury440 said now the real fun begins. :)

Congrats from the Motor City as well. I had good luck getting a couple of Imps moved this year with a broker who I referred to Will and I believe he was pleased as well.
His name is Ray and his number is 770-291-6560.

Congrats! Unfortunately the real fun starts now!!

Ain't that the truth. I still have an 8' x 20' by 2' tall area in my enclosed trailer of parts that did not sell at Carlisle (in part because I brought to much and didn't buy enough spaces).

Before I started moving parts into the 10' x 20' storage unit that is at least 8' tall I already had it about 2/3's full. Took 2 pickup loads of parts over to it yesterday - one load was just NOS sheet-metal and it it's getting full fast and my back is not very happy this morning. Those 2 pickup loads came from my basement and there is a lot left to pack up and then I have to deal with my garage and the cars themselves. Thank God I have a very good friend in Lincolnton, NC who is looking into hooking me up on a large storage unit that should fit 4 cars and a lot of parts.

Wow, I've underestimated the size of the hole you are digging! My last (better damn well be last) move was in 2013 and after being in my old house for 38 years I found a lot of stuff I had no idea where it came from but was too nice to get rid of. Anyway, more through good luck than planning I took pictures of everything as it made the trip to the new house. That was 6 years ago and I still have some boxes untouched - but I know where they are and pretty well what is in every one of them. Pictures beat the heck out of moving and opening 50 boxes to discover what you want wasn't in that pile in the first place!!
Take it easy on your body, you only get one and as you get older it don't want to play rough anymore!!

Congrats on the selling & buying part of the process. Here's hoping the move goes smoothly as well. Try not to overdo it . We're not as young as we used to be.
