72 Dodge Polara Police Car

Location: Ireland

Recently picked up this car in Arizona - was sitting in the desert for many years - body is rust free however the interior is toast. it has the 400ci High Performance 4BBL motor along with the anti roll bar and front disc brakes - Ive no idea where it served its time - I was told the previous owner got it at a local state sale -drove it for a few years and i guess found something more economical.

Im searching for an interior if anyone can help - door panels and dash pad.

Welcome aboard and nice score! I bought a '70 Fury out of Arizona. The body is dry and tight. The best way to describe the interior was "crunchy", lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome - Ill keep you all updated once I start the tear down and see what needs to be replaced. Im guessing a full suspension & brake overhaul - new interior and will repaint the engine bay. Im tempted to keep the original patina on the exterior - sand it back a little and clear coat - although that could all change... its getting harder to find original cop cars nowadays.

Thanks will reach out to him - yes I bought the car on Ebay. Im unsure which air cleaner this car should have from the factory, as its the high performance motor, perhaps the dual orange air cleaner?

Base model door panels are next to impossible to find, ABC moparts can restore your dashpad.
