For sale in Norway.

Looks really clean.
El-windows, El-front couch, got a rift in the driver's seat tho, there's no picture of it.

That's $11k. Paging @fc7_plumcrazy, @saforwardlook, @ImpJay, @Patrick Slegers, @ceebuddy: Gentlemen, what do you think -- do you know more about this car? It is based right at the southernmost end of the border with Sweden, so could be brought/driven into mainland Europe easily (and it's allegedly approved for use there already).

PS: the ad mentioned another '71 coupe in Norway, maybe it is this one (which, anecdotally, is also missing its fender skirts)? Of course that web page is 18 years old, so who knows.

Fender tag would be good. Pics of the trunk pan and underside too. Mileage unclear as "666kms = 400 miles" makes little sense.

@ayilar

I did not know this one before, only the GY4 (Honeydew) 2dr you mentioned.

Even though the skirts are missing, the mounting pins are intact, so it would not be a big problem to reinstall them.

The vacuum trunk release is correct for this model year.

I unfortunately do not know anything about the car currently for sale but it sure looks like a very desirable one to me.

I do have one that looks almost identical to this one you referenced from 2001:

Mine is also Honeydew on the exterior but mine has a dark green vinyl roof and seats but with the same seats as in both these cars. Those seats are probably the best bench seats I have ever seen or felt - the cloth looks amazing up close and feels incredibly soft to the touch - I like them just as much as the bucket seats in my other 1971 Imperial coupe, which is something very rare for me to say regarding bucket vs. bench.

My Honeydew one is my favorite Imperial but my tawny gold one is very nice too, with only 46K miles on it (the other one is around 50K I believe too).

The one in the photo from 2001 above, if it really has the options mentioned (including sunroof, ABS brakes, etc.) would be the heaviest optioned 71 Imperial I have ever heard of. I am not seeing the outline for the sunroof in the photos available though - but the photos are pretty small/low resolution.

Here is a photo of my tawny gold one but I can't find a photo of my honeydew one .

It doesn´t have a sunroof. I read the OIC article as it listed the features available to a 71 Imperial not those of the certain Imp.

BTW. The asking price is about $11K = about 10K €.

Hi Michel,

first of all: I have never seen the car.
Watch out the car lives in Norway.
Norway is not part of the european community.
So if it will be brought in there will be taxes to be paid for it
