Beautiful Polara indeed. Wonder just how damaged the quarter is but I see you must get an extra door.

Lots of options - 360 engine, power windows, power bench seat, am-fm stereo radio, cruise control, trunk dress up, a/c, power disc brakes. Nice condition overall, especially the interior. And a very rare, intact front plastic valance. I just wish it was a Monaco....................................

And.
Very nice 1972 Dodge Polara Custom 2-door hardtop - $3995 (Denton

I feel like this will be for sale next week for twice this amount after a wax and some parts replacement.

Sweet option-mobile. Damage doesn't look that severe. Did anybody ever sit in that back seat? Very nice.

Here's a blowup of the RS damage, looks to me as the quarter was pushed in all the way to the taillight area and banged out and is that a reflection on the front fender or does the damage start there?

You'll need a eyeball on all that.

At least the guys honest about the mileage and just goes to show you how well kept someone can keep their 100k car looking. I like to see some underside pictures ya kno, (just to compare) he he.

Dents are easier to fix compared to rust.
Worthy project and well optioned oddball.

Yea I don'kno, I just re-read the text and the sales speak makes me think it's already on the 'flip'. And reading through the parts list I'll bet a lot of mechanical needs to be done, U&L ball joints, tie-rod ends, idler, seals, carb kit, shocks, etc. Sounds like someone had some get up & go on the car then the damage happened? That's a hard scrape to take the door handle off.
Last attempt for "the little old lady" at getting it out of the garage?

Nice car to own, fix and drive, but if your planning on making money on it...
money pit, better than buying a boat I'll bet thou.

If I only had the extra time, money, space.... I think this is a great opportunity for someone. Lots of parts included and there's a NOS right side fender on E bay if needed.

That's not nearly as bad as the 72 Riviera project car I had, and still have, when I was in college for collusion repair. Both ends were pretty f'ed up 20 years prior and never fixed right.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy that car if it was one I really wanted bad. Neither rear quarter or fender would need to be changed. Since he has the door, that could be changed pretty easily. A good body guy would have that car looking good in short order and not too much money. The mechanical work that likely needs to be done would be a labor of love, making it much like new again. If I were a lot younger, I would have probably saved it just because I like the car that much. You won't find a 72 coupe like that one coming along very often with all those options, if ever again given their relatively low survival rate. And 360 engines in those cars run great even in 2 bbl form.

Boy, am I tempted on this one...create a clone of the one I bought new (same interior color, even!)...just need to remove the vinyl top & spray some black paint (& bodywork, of course)!

One of my best friends ended up buying it. It couldn't be going to a better home. Very happy for him and the car.
