Mountain ride with critter

I love it out west.... I'm within five years of packing it in here in the East

Did you notice the beginning pic of DRIVE III Dave. It's called OPEN RANGE and we're not talkin' 'bout Moose, Elk, Mule Dear, Prong Horn 'n Bear. or any other wild critterz. Themz eaten beef and milkin' type cowz. AND SOMETIMEZ THE RESERVATION DWELLERS OUT THERE HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO PURPOSELY DRIVE THEIR CRITTERZ OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AFTER DARK FOR UNSUSPECTING NEWBYZ TO THE NEIGHBOR HOOD SO THEY CAN BE JAILED AND FINED FOR RUNNIN' OVER UNCLE CHARLEY'S HEIFERZ

It was supposed to include Tobias, but he had a mechanical failure on the way to meet us, and told us to continue without him. 275 mile round trip.

Ya I wasn't happy on Sunday, broke down I a middle of nowhere no cellphone reception my luck.
Transmission is pissing fluid all over.
I'm glad that you guys had a great time.

Ditto. Unfortunately I'm still fiddling around with my heater. I got the heater hoses disconnected, but getting the nipples out without chewing them up has kept me off the road. Today I found a neat tool, an internal pipe wrench which I hope to own tomorrow. Then all I need is a 5/8" npt plug.

It's actually steel, it just looks like brass in the photo.

Thanks for this. How did it work out?

The fancy wrenches didn't work, well they might have with a lot heat and risking a shear. In the end I left them mostly undamaged and just looped the hoses. Not neat but it worked.

Thank you for the response! @saforwardlook mentioned the existence of a special tool to remove those nipples (assuming the notches are not too corroded), and @71Polara383 has found it on eBay. I just bought the eBay kit -- and nipples from Mancini Racing -- for Wyatt to use as preventative maintenance on Medina, my '71 Monaco. I'll post (likely next week, in my Medina thread) a report on how well the tool performed.

The nipples in my block are literally frozen in place. I gave up before really screwing things up.
