1966 Imperial Odometer

Bess has decided not to age past 30,000. Anybody have experience repairing these?
If the speed indicator still works, then the odometer has probably stripped the drive gear inside the speedometer housing. '65-'66 mopars were famous for faulty odometers usually from one of the little gear teeth breaking off. You will need to find a new odometer and install it to repair the unit. If you have a trip odometer, try resetting it back to 0, sometimes that will cure the problem temporarily. If you are not getting a speed reading either, check the speedometer cable to be sure it is intact.

Thank you, Dave. I do have a speedometer still, although it does oscillate at lower speeds. I did try resetting the trip odometer, but it no longer picks up either

A member here will soon be coming into several gauge clusters for that era car. He might get a ‘66.

Sorry to be cryptic, but it’s not my deal to disclose.

It might be the Cable that connects the Reset knob to the Odometer.
