Obsolescence of the unskilled

The wife and I were at Micky D's a couple of weeks ago, there was a line, we were willing to wait for a human to take our order, but they ushered us over to the self order kiosk instead.
Just tell them you are paying cash, the kiosk doesn't accept it.

I then raised my selections in the air and said quite loudly, "if you folks don't do as I am about to do you will stand in line every time you come here" and promptly placed my items on a display which was in women's wear and walked out.
Don't know what happened.

I would've then gone home, got online to Walmart's page and filed a complaint about the piss poor service provided you received by that store!

would looked at them and laughed and waited for them to scurry off so l could continue my business....
To be honest rarely eat out anymore....prices are outa line up here...…

That's because of all the free stuff you guys have to pay for with taxes.

Those who move south to no tax TN or to FL are probably pleasantly surprised at how much money they save. We have income tax in NC and TN has better roads despite no income tax.

That’s kinda what I have found as I consider other states for retirement.
My feeling is most all states have the same basic infrastructure to maintain. Cali and NY aside. Usually through taxes. Those with no income tax have high sales and/or property tax. Colorado for instance has a pretty steep car sales or transfer tax that varies from county to county.
Turns out I’m fine, tax wise, right where I am.
