The gold 1972 Fury III is still cruising around. Very enjoyable car to drive. Drove 34 miles at speeds up to 80 mph in 93°F, feels like 100 heat, with no issues.
I have not done any work on the car in a couple months because of carpenter bees attacking my stick-built carport and having to paint the whole thing. The effort has turned into a general refurbish with the goal of turning the carport into a garage that's attached to my original garage. 20' wide, by 32' deep

as it is , i think a member wants the body tub . so there is smaller parts and front end stuff . and the bumpers as well .

better pics of that passenger fender , show sights of bondo on the low rear , but just pock n fill . no rust . does have some bumpers in it . still has the wheel house molding and sidemarker lamp with the fender extension .

today , gas tank , and front frame suspension unbolted , e brake and brake paddles as well . all most down to a tub .

I going to pass on the fender and bumper.
My fender is repairable, so I'm going to stick with it.
My bumper is actually better because it doesn't have 3 holes in the center.
I'm sure somebody will need them. If I think of something else to replace, I'll let you know.
If you want to keep posting stuff as you pull it, I'll be glad to look.

very close to the bottom , just pulled the subframe , driveline , gas tank , its a big tub . i'm taking the spindle's out for those 'd' brakes , it does still have r/e , 9 1/4 one legger .

OK, a car a little better looking than the one being parted. Drove the 72 Fury to work today. There is nothing like the pleasure of driving a large rear-wheel-drive Plymouth at 80-85mph on the interstate (That goes for other c-bodies too). What an awesome feeling! No AC. Who cares? No working radio. Don't give a damn. I just like sitting down in that seat, steering with my left hand on the bottom of the steering wheel (right forearm resting on armrest cushion), listening to the rumble of the V8, and cruising with traffic in the fast lane.

Hell no. I stick with made in USA by a US company. And my car looks different and better than any perfect climate-control-AC and deluxe 15-speaker-stereo aerodynamic blob car on the road.

I agree. All the C bodies I have driven have a great ride at 80-90 mph just floating along. I love the look on peoples faces when I am passing them in the fast lane in the wagon. I could use some tunes in my C bodies though. I was just out in our 17 Dart. It's got the big touch screen and some of the best sounding speakers. It's quite impressive how far car audio has come.

@71Polara383 Wyatt, I like music at home, listening with my wife. On the road seems to be different. I just put a radio in my 1990 pickup after driving it for 9 years without a working radio. Lots of times I forget to turn it on, and sometimes the commercials are so annoying that I have to turn it off while cussing out radio owners who can't hear me. Ben
Then there's that Highway V8 rumble. It may be the best stereo sound on the planet.

I may turn it on for long trips. Not sure. Hate all the radio commercials, but also hate having a broken AM radio and having an antenna that is broken in half. The gentleman in gold deserves better!

I do not have a spare plastic instrument panel bezel. Of course, they vary by the options the car has. For instance, cars with rear defog have a different panel than those without rear defog. Also, some have perimeter woodgrain, some do not, although woodgrain can be added or removed. Some have AC vent, some do not. If your current panel is cracked, it can be repaired. Gary @Wollfen did mine. He could tell you how.
A picture of your current dash would help. This is mine after Gary's repairs. Mine is rear defog, non woodgrain, non AC. I think most radio heat/AC bezels are the same, unless you stumble on a rare radio delete car.
On my car, still working out shipping with Manuel. Worth the wait. This needs replacement.
