On my 66 dodge I got a range rover steering column coupler.
NTC 3486 is the part number. Google it and compare prices. Think I paid under 20 bucks.
They are thicker than originals and need to be ground down to fit. It worked for me.

I bought these several years ago, cheap. They're still available, but I am not sure why I bought them, or if they'll be a less expensive alternative to something that will work for this application.
If I recall, I was told 2 were needed, and to use both when replacing the old one. View attachment 209316 View attachment 209317
This is why you bought them and thanks for the post. I just rebuilt mine with that dorman part.

Thanks for all the advice from everyone. I will keep them all in mind. Meanwhile, I went with the Dorman part # 31002 rag joint replacement You have to use 2 of them but together they are a perfect fit both in diameter and thickness. I used a litle longer bolts for the lower flange. It was $20 for both of them. OE NOS was just to pricey for me right now. Maybe when full on resto comes around.... In the meantime I'm just gonna enjoy driving it again.

Nice to see that a pair of Dorman 31002s will do it so nicely. I got the LandRover coupling brand new for $7, but it is a little too thick. It's not a big problem. One can cut it down, or not. If the latter, your steering wheel will stick back about 1/4" too far for some dash trim to screw in. I can live with that. Those who demand higher aesthetic integrity will want to cut their British rubbers down to spec. Mathilda steers and handles VERY nicely with the new rubber in the column.
