Carlisle A12

A Q5 A12 Runner is unusual for sure. When I ordered mine I checked the T5 fire bronze. Turns out only two were built in that color, my coupe and a hardtop, (it still exists).
Here's a shot of mine the day I brought it home. Notice anything unusual?

I've had two other A12's since the 1st one. I remember seeing your friends white/blue car at the A12 reunion at Carlisle in 92 sportfury70. I parked my car in the row and when I came back it was parked next to mine. Pretty cool to see two white A12 runners together.

I see your car had hubcaps, but all the literature says these all come with bare wheels and just chrome lug nuts.

By the way, that bronze is freaking beautiful!

You know you said this 3 times within a minute of each other.

Thanks.
I was wondering if anyone would catch that. I ordered the car early in March. No one at the dealership, or any one else I talked to had any knowledge of the A12 option at the time. The salesman ran across the new product release bulletin while putting a Hemi GTX on a order sheet for me. No pictures or info aside from a itemized list of the option.
It arrived in May. The dealer prep guy found no hub caps in the car, so he went to the parts department and they gave him a set of (Dodge) hub caps, which he put on the car before delivery.
Mine may be the only A12 delivered new with hub caps.
That picture was taken in dads back yard when I arrived home from the dealership with it. The caps came off immediately and a set of Anson Sprint slotted wheels were installed shortly after.

There was a red A12 Super Bee that sat on the lot at Sam Dell Dodge for a while. Interesting car that's still around and one of the few with power windows. Anyway... It was a pretty sharp looking car... and the dealership decided it needed wheels to make it sell, so it got a set of 14" road wheels installed.

I used to see this car everyday when I was still in high school. About 10 years later, I met the guy that owned it and of course, I remembered the car. He told me the story and he kept it for a few years before trading it. Fast forward some more years and another acquaintance bought the car. Last I knew, it was sitting in a garage not too far from here.
