yes , these parts came from a peel down of a 72 fury 3 2dr ht . and i laid them out like a swapmeet , for all to see and pick from . piles sell nothing and no on c/l , c/l wants bucks for an ad now .

I got the license plates cleaned up and ready for touch-up with the intention of putting them on my NY. I called the DMV today to check to see if they were "on file" and they said yes. I asked how can they be cleared, and they said I can't do anything but wait 5 years from the time of last inquiry, before they automatically drop out of the system. I said "cool, when was the last inquiry, must be almost that".... and the guy told me "it's right now since you had me look them up". WTF! Had I only known.....

Yep....I just have to play the waiting game with the DMV now. I guess I only blew away 1.5 years by calling them, not almost 5. At least that gives me more time to repaint them, looking at 1-shot paints.
