Yes it is an inland shifter but look how it’s either bent to work or the incorrect one. My shifter isn’t bent like that.

I dunno. . . I don't think you could successfully bend that thing, and I don't know why anyone would want to take the trouble to install an incorrect Inland shifter, instead of a Hurst unit. Maybe its just a Polara shifter "feature."

That,s not a 66 polara………..
I agree that having gone back and reviewed the thread it is not a Polara(my mistake) but my real point is that the seller is asking a high dollar & the 67 here is in much better condition to begin with considering the asking price.

When ordering the reclining passenger seat, the headrest was a required option. Or "must have" ..According to my 1968 option sheet and price guides.

This was true through 1969. The non recliner seat head rest still had to be ordered separate although the recliner required one. Kind of strange. I bet there were some unhappy buyers when their new car came in with one head rest, unknown to them at the time they ordered.

That’s why I would like to see the fender tag, the air cleaner seems to be ‘68 year

Does your car have a console as well? The shifters are a different shape for console vs. non console cars.

And why did you hide this beauty from us for so long? Thanks for finally sharing some pictures!

He thinks the car needs a new trunk floor from that surface rust in the trunk? Cool car, that's $15k US right now.
There's a small hole in one of the grooves on the LH side, , IMO not worth the residual damage done by replacing the floor. A small, nicely-formed patch TIG'd in would be a better method?

Mmmm, we better not get started on comparing those 2 cars.

For discussion - the bent shifter in the Kiiji car:

Did some digging, as I remembered seeing a blue one like this in the past.
I see some details that show it is the same car.
According to my records, this car sold on ebay out of Portland for a tick over $10k back in 2012.
Current Kiiji seller says had 6 years, so that kinda fits.

Previous seller said:
The trunk is extremely solid. The rear window seal had a small leak years ago that allowed water to collect in a small area (photos provided) An issolated repair was done to that very small affected area. Not noticable unless pointed out.
And the picture. Just chance, or intentionally deceptive? Only the prior seller knows.
