This isn’t mine but mine looked just like this, just not as new-looking when I got ahold of it. 1970 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Got it for $150 when I first got my license back in 1998.

my first car was a 1969 Chrysler 300 2dr hardtop. I purchased it from original owner 40 yrs. ago and I still own it.

1968 AMC Ambassador SST just like this one. Bought in Sept 1984 for $300. Had a minor crash on 12/25/85, parked it to buy a 71 Ford LTD convertible for $500.

1958 model Opel Rekord, built in mid-August 1957, still in existence in my neighborhood, probably the earliest surving car of this series.

‘68 Dodge Polara. Dad bought it in 1970. I learned to drive in it when I was 5 and was re titled to me when I was 16.

My new was a '71 Fury III 360 around 30k miles on it and bought it from a little old lady for $1350 out of Decatur Illinois it was coral metallic blue 4dr sedan, had a crystalized piston in the left caliper o_0

Technically my first was a 1978 Ford Fairmont after grandpas dementia took turn. Only drove it 3 months. That thing couldn't get out of its own way with the 200 straight 6. Dad ended up getting me much more reliable car for winter a 84 Chevy Impala.
But the first car I purchased with my own money, after the Impala gave up the ghost, was a 1987 Buick Electra Estate Wagon. And that one I really miss out of the three.

*not my actual cars, but very similar.

First car was a 1969 Dodge Charger 500. Not very street driver friendly. Sorry no pics of it. Still have the old registration. Second car as a daily driver was a 1970 Sport Fury GT. For as big as it was it pretty fast for its size. My ex blew the doors off a new 1979 Z28 Camaro w/ it. That thought still brings a smile to my face.

Kinda like this one, no roof rack though, removed the wood grain and painted it Porsche ruby red (freebie from a friend of my dads)

He wanted Guards red, got this by mistake. Somewhere I have pic's of it. I learned a lot with this car, did the body work with dads guidance, drove it with the 4cyl until it gave up and swapped in a Buick 231 V6 that I rebuilt. I should have put in the Chevy 305 that dad had from another friend.

1966 Plymouth Fury III Metallic Dark Green hardtop with a 318. Mopar man my entire life... Probably influenced by the 1956 Plymouth Fury my dad had till I was 8.
