I’ve been searching the site for an answer but can’t find one. My neutral safety switch on my 727 tranny is a single pole style and is leaking. Finding a replacement seems to be a bit difficult however getting the newer style three pin is quite easy. My question is will the three pin fit (I am pretty sure it will). The other thing is that I want to confirm is it the center pole that is for the neutral safety, I can just leave the other two blank.

Easy fix...

Usually when these leak, it is because the gasket at the base of the switch is bad. Yes the center pin on the switch is for the starter circuit. Single pole switch is still available but costs about $65. If you google "single pole Mopar neutral safety switch" suppliers come up on E-Bay. I would probably use the single pole switch because on some applications you need to change the shift comb inside the transmission to get the the 3 prong switch to work properly. Not sure about your '66.

Thanks that’s what I was worried about. Mine unfortunately is leaking out of the unit itself, wish it were the gasket.
