How many 1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT"s are left ?

11.....think lve seen this car albeit not 100% sure..have some pics of it if same one..was missing drive train..green interior and think it was missin a pass corner piece at front...been wondering what happened to it and if this was same car..will try to dig up the pics

It's the same car you are thinking of. It was for sale with two parts cars and was missing the RF fender extension on it. Pics of it are on Maple Leaf Mopars from when it was in Alberta. The guy who bought it got the parts cars as well in the deal. Would be enough parts between the three to put it back to mostly complete.

That's the same car. The guy that bought it hasn't done anything with it besides bring it back to BC. I looked at it again earlier this year. I tried to buy The GT, the two parts cars and his 71 Custom Suburban wagon which is factory EV2 Orange. He didn't say no to my offer, just that he wanted to really think it over.

Poor thing was a rust bucket before it got squashed. You can buy the nice green one that is for sale for $30k-$35k. You won't come close to restoring this one for that money. Is the hood cut back? Looks weird in the photo. If the engine was out in the rain it is likely junk.

What about the light green colored one that is featured in the Collectible Automobile article about the Fuselage Furys?

I’m all for a good parts car but I wouldn’t even be tempted for over a grand.
I remember someone paying that for just those fender top vents. Still looks complete with the original drive train. You don’t really know until you start pulling it apart, but at least with the VIN it can be added to the registry.

:thankyou:
