I'm in the process of making life changes, selling the current house and maybe build a new one at some point but it won't be until next year. Rather than pay for storage I'd like to, (or try anyway), sell my Plymouth and wanted to try on the site first.

It is a 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible, 383 HP “H” code w/ 4 speed manual transmission, currently shows 13,000+ (113,000+) miles. VIN# PH27H8D182242. If you are into rare, this is a 1 of 73, (according to the Galen Govier white book) and in addition it has a tilt/telescoping steering wheel. I realize the term “survivor” can be overused and misstated but what you’ll find here is something very close if you're into original and un-molested, it could also be for you. It is a numbers matching car and I am the third registered owner of this car. I will say it is not without issues though, there is some late 70's bodywork in the rear wheel well quarter area that is showing it's age. My asking price is $16,500 but am open to reasonable offers. If interested, there is a photo garage under “1968 Sport Fury 383 4 Speed” and please reply for any all other information.

It appears to be a very decent car.

If as original and clean as advertised, this is a bargain.

Having driven 4-speed C-bodies, I can attest they are really fun cars to drive, a completely different driving experience than an automatic.

Good luck with the sale, you shouldn't have trouble selling it!

Very possible a one of one with the red stripe on a light green car. Wish the timing of your sale wasn't bad for me.

I bet that it would sell at Carlisle in July.

Good luck. Hope you change your mind and keep it buy I understand. I am moving sometime this summer and have some tough decisions on what stays and what goes with me.

Thanks. Good suggestion but first grandchild's christening is the same weekend so I don't think Carlisle would happen for me this year.

Just wanted to let you know I sent you a P/M. Thanks Dave

@68 4spd Fury asked me a while ago if I would be available (I'm local) to look at this car for anyone. Of course I agreed to this, so I'm offering that to anyone that wants a set of eyes on it. I have no interest in the sale, nor have I ever (that I remember) met him, so my judgement would be impartial.

Feel free to contact me.

I urge you to put this car on eBay with a reserve or with an opening bid around $15,000. I would be shocked if the car did not sell.

I never had much luck there, at least selling cars, but I'll give it a shot, cheap enough.

The car is sold and on it's on it's way to the new owner. Other than this notice, do I delete the posting or mark it sold?
