wife = Honey, you need to sell that old car..
husband = yes dear, I will list it right away.. ( knowing full well no one in their right mind will respond at my price)

$30k for a car with a "reinforced" frame. Read patched rust out. But might as well dream big.

Dave

Wonder if the reinforced frame is done to mimic a hemi k frame? Seems like he's invested a significant amt of time and money into it. But as we know, you rarely recoup the investment. $20K might be more in line and actually attract some attention. Just my opinion.

This was a 383 2BBL car to start with, so even $20k might be optimistic. Can't really tell without eyes on the car. I am thinking with a custom interior and a paint job that is probably not the factory color, that this is a resto mod car and would probably peak at $12.5-$15k. Would depend a lot on how much rust was on the car to start with and the quality of the work done to date.

Needs an upper control arm?
Why? WTF?
30K for a 383 car? He thinks it's GT territory , for thirty large it better have a T, U or a V in the VIN OR the tops gotta go down.

Hmmm.I,d rather find a true Fury GT in need of a little love.It would have to have a console.A lovely Monaco 2 door with a big block would be lovely to. 30 grand is a little rich.B.B

Well one pic ,I guess there is no engine or interior

VIN (PL21L0F234***) codes out to be 2 dr coupe (post car).

Thanks.... Is there an actual post (B pillar) between the door and quarter glass? I thought all fuselage c-body 2-doors were hard tops and the only posts (sedans) were 4-doors....

Noticed no one has posted the text from the advert...

1970 Plymouth Fury post car - $30000 (North Ridgeville)
"Rebuilt 1970 Plymouth Fury 2 door post car
Body completely redone with jet black paint
Interior all redone
Unibody subframe reinforced; built 440 4 barrel with Mopar "purple" cam

I have too many projects and not enough storage. I love this car but the time has come to sell it.

What it needs: new front right upper control arm (included with sale); heater fan motor electric hookup; radio/stereo.

Price is negotiable but only hard cash or bank fedwire transfer accepted. NO personal checks, cashier's checks, "certified" checks, or "investment account" checks accepted. "

There's a narrow fixed post at the front edge of the rear side window, but there's no frame around the glass on the door like a regular sedan. That's why it looks like a hardtop. I think the B body "coupes" were the same way, just the post was wider to support the swing-out rear side glass, and stiffen the body more for drag racing.
