So....let me start off with........Hi, I'm Nick and I'm a Fury-aholic.....

A friend spotted this car while out backroad cruising one afternoon...he passed the info along to me.

I followed up on it today and struck a deal, I'll drag it back home this coming weekend...

The basic info and backstory is;

original owner from the Brantford area was coming down his lane-way and clipped the stone pillar at the end, backed it back into his garage and gave up driving. He passed, his family sold it and a bunch of other stuff to a gentleman in the Scotland area. It shows 51k miles and I feel it's possible with it being parked in 81.

Our own BeepBeepDave looked at the car when the gentlemen in Scotland had it, at which time it was nearly "Barn-fresh"

The first few pictures are what my friend John sent me...

And finally my pictures from Today...
Nick that looks like a diamond in the rough. Bucket/console, HP big block to boot. Nice score.
It's a pretty cool car in terms of options, The fact its a big block 4 barrel high trim car built in Windsor makes it pretty scarce...

In terms of options it has Power disc brakes, power windows, cruise control, buckets, console, 383 4 barrel.

The issues....the 383 is stuck, the drivers fender is a mess, the trunk floor is shot, rear rails are soft in spots, trunk lid and hood are rotten, drivers floor pan has rust and front stub is crap....

For most people that list would make it a non-starter. You are not most people. For you this should be a walk in the park.

I already have the fender, trunk and hood and they are even already blue...

I have a good used drivers floor pan, I located a trunk floor pan for it, and may have a line on rear rails...

I do really regret when I scrapped the slant 6 fury front stub I had...

Nick

interesting that the fender tag does not have any option codes on it. Should have at least the console, pw and a few others.

Loving that you are gonna save her!! Of course I'm partial to blue 69 SFs with white droptop, but I gotta ask, where did you get the cool Fury shirt??

Its been my experience that In 69 C tags were sparse on codes. Certainly different than 70 up.

That really is a neat car Nick, what’s it got for a rear axle? Build sheet yet?

Sparse I agree. My experience is most items not on the tag would be on the broadcast sheet.
Our 69 F3 has options not on the tag for example.
69 was a weird year for c body fender tags also dependibg on which plant assembled them.
Cheers
