So I managed to create a post that was not allowed by not having a single item for sale and a price for said item. Obviously, I am a bad person.

I'm sure my elderly parents (Dad is crippled by Lyme and Mom needs diverticulitis surgery badly but cant since she's caring for Dad) will understand when I tell them I can't sell any of their old car/parts. I'm also sure my lovely wife of 24 yrs (never smoked, whom is battling stage 4 lung cancer) will understand when I tell her I need to take money out of the bank to help support my parents. Also, my teenage kids won't mind when I tell them college is not an option since I have no money.

Obviously, I'm poor at time and resource management as I've failed to take the time to read and memorize the rules associated with creating a "for sale" post between working a full time job, running/working the farm, raising 2 kids, and trying to help care for my ill wife and parents.

Quite possibly, this post should be deleted also.

Don't take it personally, your frustration is understandable, and relatable to members here, we all need to vent sometimes...try again posting your parts, we all need to stick together in this hobby and we need parts. :)
 
Sorry about your misfortune but we all have our crosses to bear. The time you took to vent could have been more productively spent going back and doing it the right way. List the item with corresponding price. Not rocket science.

Don't feel bad, your not the only idiot here that can't follow the boards standards for posting Ad's. It happens a lot more often then not! Now, go back and do it right and go make some money! Good Luck

Sorry to vent guys. I am guilty of ignorance but I also feel a little bit of respect and common courtesy goes a long way in dealing with others. Had I received a simple message stating the rules, I would have apologized and fixed my mistake, no harm no foul. Receiving a female-dog slap and being a new member, didn't set really well with me.

My life situation is an ugly reality at the moment. I failed to mention Dad's battle with H pylori and 3 tic born diseases in addition to the Lyme this past year. Mom also has a bad hip and her blood pressure is all over the place to add to the diverticulitis that has put her in the hospital 3 times in the last 6 months.

My wife received her first of 10 radiation treatment today to try and reduce the metastasized tumor on her spine that is pressuring her nerves and creating pain. We have been told they can not cure her lung cancer and all we can hope for is remission/containment or a miracle. We are going to Dana-Farber later this week - we have to try.

My teenage kids are obviously upset facing the likely hood of losing the mother they are very close to.

My best friend at work lost his battle with cancer 2 weeks ago and I lost my kid brother to cancer 4 years ago also. Yes, my testicles have been tenderized plenty lately and yes I've wasted too much time on this BS, but felt I needed to make a point.

I'm really sorry for your troubles.

This forum isn't heavily moderated like some, so I'm surprised that your thread was deleted. I didn't see the thresd, so I'm not going to judge what happened, right or wrong.

What you need to do, quite simply is to make a new thread, following the rules, and try to sell your stuff. The folks that run things here ( @Joeychgo ) aren't out to make your life any harder and I'm sure that a new thread would be welcome.

Life has its challenges, and you have more than most of us, but if you need to sell your stuff, this is a good place and fairly priced parts and cars are always appreciated. I see the thread for your car hits all the marks for an honest ad with pictures, price, location etc. Just try it again.

I wish you and your family well.
 
The selling of accumulate items could well be more symbolic in this situation rather than generating the serious money those diseases and situations might require. As I understand it, H Pylori is much simpler to treat than many doctors might suspect. A friend had it because of several doctors prescribing different medications which killed the good bacteria in his digestive tract. A few months later, he was all better after a basic and simple "implant" situation! All related to digestive/elimination tract "maintenance", rather than "chemicals".

I don't need to be readin about your life's troubles, and that shouldn't have any effect how you write a ad!
People don't think, period! They're to narrowminded to pay attention to what they're doing or what they're trying to accomplish. They throw there crap on here with lousy pictures, poorly written description, if any at all, no price, no contact info, etc. etc. you get the picture, don't you? Take some time and effort to put up a quality ad and your stuff will sell a lot faster. Just sayin. Think about it? Good Luck

Honestly am not sure but with all the sites connected would b more than personal....hes running a business and making money and expanding l would imagine...all assumptions on my part
