Your first car was a _________?

1968 Plymouth Fury I (PK21) ex cop car, was previous thought to be a Rhode Island State trooper car, now I think it was a Maine Trooper car (original paint color). Originally equipped with the Super Commando 383, a 440 SixPack motor was in it when I did a purchase/trade with my first dirt bike and $600 for it in the fall of 1970. Nobody in town would touch the car as the previous owner had power slid the car into a fire hydrant and tore the RR quarter panel all to hell. He had full insurance on it and had a competent body shop replace the quarter panel and my eyeballs at the time could see no wheel well tub damage or repair in that area. Not like his brothers GTX 6bbl that I looked at years later where the person that bought that car had power slid it into a Chevy Vega doing damage from the quarter glass back to the taillight with the wheel tub pushed in (slanted). I could of had that GTX in 1973 for a straight up trade of a 1968 Fury III DD with one dent in it that I just picked up for $100.

Anyways the only picture that closely represents the car (before I rolled it) was this one I found on the net. I did have a picture of my second 68 PK21 but that was just a Polaroid of the LR quarter panel damage from some dumb ***** backing into it in a parking lot for the insurance company and is long gone.

This is about the dark blue I painted the car from the light silver blue it came as (full car paint job from quarter panel job) I don't why I painted the car, low quality body shop job? Youthful enthusiasm? Liked the darker blue color better?
The car had the stock PD wheels with the 67 style bubble caps. (early 68)

I should photoshop the SuperBee fresh air package scoops to finalize memories about this car.

BTW this car spent much of the time that I had it in this position;
