Hello.
I´m looking for a carpet for my 69 Plymouth Fury convertible. Does the normal 2-Door carpet fit?
Because I cannot find a special convertible carpet anywhere?
Do you guys have a good recommendation where to buy the carpet from? I would need it in red.

Greetings from Munich

Axel

Hi,Axel.
Yes the carpet for 2 door is the same for converibles. No difference in wheel base, but all replacement carpet sets need trimming and cutting of holes for seatbelt and any other obstacle.
Hope this helps,Leaburn

BTW is this the same Axel I met in New York state? Remember the moonshine we drank at Jack Forkey's yard?? I remember you were exporting a 69 Polara 'vert and on another occasion a nice Dodge Sweptline pickup.

ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) carpet is pretty much the only game in town for molded carpet.

If you buy it from Year One, it will be an ACC carpet. If you buy it from Dante's, it will be an ACC carpet.... and so on.

When someone says "I bought my carpet from so and so", it's an ACC carpet.

So... it's a matter of vendor choice, not manufacturer.

IMHO, one of the better vendors is Stock Interiors. I've had good luck ordering and they will send you samples. Prices seem competitive, but you may be able to buy it cheaper.

Thanks your help!
@cbarge: I´m not the Axel you meet, but I know him well. I'm living in the south of Germany, he lives in the North, quite close to Berlin. But I would have enjoyed drinking moonshine... ;)

I, too, have a set of carpet for my convertible. I bought the 2-door replacement carpet and after many back and forth messages and receiving samples from ACC, we determined it would fit.

I'll be adding my new ACC carpet to my 69 convertible in the next month or so. I'll start up a thread on it.
