Fantom Works

There MAY be other worthwhile "car guy" shows out there, but out of the ones I have seen, this is the only one that seems to do actual restorations, rather then Franken-modding them, there have been some real interesting projects...………

A arrogant, self centered, disrespectful, Naval officer that thinks that his crap don't stink and everybody else's does! I never much cared for him or the show thank you!

I just binge watched Netflix show Rust Valley Restorers over the weekend. Not too much of the typical "for TV entertainment BS" but some pretty funny wise cracks from the guy running the place to his employees.
They've got a yard in Canada that has a bunch of Mopars, including C's. In one of the episodes, they were doing a quick fix on a 70 Coronet, just to get it running to sell.
Not too much of the show includes details as GYC, but it is entertaining.

Too much fake drama on most of these car TV shows for me. Why not just stick to the nuts and bolts and forget the personal stuff?? Who needs or enjoys it....

If you want a show that does actual restorations and doesn't have a weasel for the star, LMC is it I would have to believe. When they took apart the mufflers to repack them with asbestos just like they came from the factory, you know they down to the nitty gritty.

Whatever happened to Sam & Dave of 2 Guys Garage? Just a simple show and informative!

I don’t care for a lot of car shows on TV, too much fake drama and too little actual spannering. Just caught the tail end if the show with the Sport Fury, so recorded it, as you don’t often see C Bodies on TV. Anyhow thought I’d post information for anyone interested.

Some good stuff on YouTube. Check out Uncle Tony’s Garage. Does a lot of Mopar cars.

"Wheeler Dealers" for me although I miss the tall man. I love Uncle Tony too....no BS

series 6 episode 9 - 1971 Plymouth Sport Fury. Thanks

I so remember seeing that episode. That's the same guy who had Dan do that ugly hearse for. Real cool to see a c-body on tv. I heard that car is a "triple deuce" car. Never actually seen it before. My stepdad met the owner of it at Carlisle once and said he was kind of a prick.

In the recent past, we discussed that car at length. The final consensus is that the owner is a fraud and the car are is too.
