With my duster down my wife piloted our 66 new yorker at monster musclecar weekend. I ran it up at mopar nats at 12.70 she mostly stayed at 12.40s then pulled out a 12.35 as the night cooled off. Starting to get it dialed in. Keep in mind this was her first time drag racing so ignore the R/T. She is now hooked though. For those who havent seen my build thread. Its all original block trans and rearend. 493" stroker build. Rmvb and a 10" convertor. 3.73 gears on a 35spline spool. Caltracs and 255/60 et streets.

Like I said in the other thread, faster than I would have thought. I dare say sleeper. I bet it would surprise a few on the street.

The exhaust gives it away quickly but i willnsay when starting it at shows or out to dinner, ect. Everyone turns to see. Haha wish i could quiet it down but exhaust options were limited. My repop fuel tank made itnimpossible to get exhaust to the bumper.

 Very fricken nice there! Got any pics under the hood??:poke::)

You have a different air cleaner [drop base ] on there now that is not shown in the pics? Or is it the drop base?

Yes that pic was when i dripped motor in if you notice a lot wasnt hooked up. I got a drop base with the filtered lid.
