Great night for September almost too hot at 85 degrees. Again great turnout with a couple of new Fury’s sightings. I brought my dad in his old 68 Polara. I am glad he got to see it and ride in it again. He had a good time.
I believe there were Polara/ Polara 500’s including mine. With dad I couldn’t walk the whole street, so may have missed some.
I guess I didn’t take another picture as I captured it in July
I didn’t get very many pictures. Every time I would stop to take a picture or get a better angle Dad would follow me so I didn’t want to wear him out too bad as when he gets tired he gets a little tippy.
I am glad I got him to fly back from Denver with me for the weekend. I will fly back with him Monday.
It is probably the icing on my restoration to let him see it and ride in it again. He bought this car in August of 1970. He said it was like brand new when he got it. He said he came over the bridge (Missouri River)coming into Ft. Benton,(MT) and the car caught his eye on the lot and had to have it. (The Dodge dealer was right by the bridge.)
Always memorable to spend time with the ones you love. Great to hear that dad enjoyed himself and seeing his old car. I love the looks of the white Fury. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
