Fellow Northeast C-body members, just letting you know that the Mopars @ The Valley show is this coming weekend. Date is Sunday October 13th. Gate opens at 8am. Car & Driver is $15.00 to get in. $10.00 for spectators. Top 3 trophies in each class. Show is presented by Mopar Action Magazine. Weather is looking good as of now. I would download a flyer and attach it here, but our stupid governor has a tax on downloads now. Anyhow I'm not sure if I'll be there or not, I would definitely love to be. It's a great show. I might have to work. I get my schedule on a weekly basis and days vary with my job. I will let everyone know when I get my schedule.

I'll be the first to let you know when I get my Polara dialed in for time travel.......

Well, I got my work schedule for the week. I gotta work on Sunday. However that is at 5pm. Maybe I could come in the morning then leave at 2pm or so. It takes about 1 hour and 54 minutes to get to the dragway according to mapquest. I will think about it and let everyone know.:(:BangHead:

As of now I am planning on going. It's about a 3 Hr ride for me, but usually a good show. I went last year and the turnout was a little light probably because there was a 5 degree wind chill and light flurries in the afternoon. Swap meet was light, but still some good parts to be had. Classes were a little odd combining the "C-bodies with other cars. But with the light turnout, it is understandable. There were also some nice C-Bodies in the pits and spectator parking. A friend just got his Belvedere on the road and I may ride with him this year. If not, I will bring the 68. Mopar Action was also there last year, and I saw them doing a few articles on very nice cars. I was shocked to see a nice picture of my car in the show coverage article. Generally I wouldn't to see a "C" body pictures with a Superbird next to me.
I posed some pictures of last year, If I can figure how to insert a link I will do it.

I think last year the trophies started about 3 and wrapped up about 3:30. I have gone to the show for many years, but most years have raceed my Dart and not brought the Fury to show. What i have noticed is the tropies seem to be more tied to the race finals ending than a set time.
The more cars racing the later the car show seems to run. Since it is about a 3 hr ride for me. I will probably head out about 3:30 or 4 at the latest anyway. That way the majority of the ride will be in the daylight.

I am 99% sure that I unfortunately won't be able to go this year. As I have to be to work for 5. So I would have to leave the show at 2 to get home by 4. Unless I go and don't enter the car, or enter the car to show and leave before trophies. I still don't know. I'll let everyone know perhaps Saturday.

Any more info on this? Looking for a flyer and more info and cant find anything. Everything says more info soon.

This is the only kind I flyer I found. Not much information on the show. Mostly the racing.
