I am 19. To me old is a state of being. My uncle Larry is 82 years old, but he is not old. He is quick to crack a good joke, and will play beachball with us in the pool during July 4th. He has a young state of mind. My great grandma on the other hand is 94 years old. Everybody thinks she is old as dirt, even though she carries laundry up the stairs and is in better shape than some 50 year olds. However, she is the typical old lady. She has a permanent, watches the news endlessly, and complains about how terrible the world is. How old you are (I think) is mostly made up of how you act. Near the end of any persons life, they may seem frail. Unless you have dementia, you can fight of being old.
