Gas Price

I get my gasoline on the Seneca Reservation. Cheap gas is 2.06 a Gallon.

About $3.40 for 91.

Here in SW Wisconsin gas prices are:

Regular unleaded $2.54
88 (15%)unleaded $2 49
Premium unleaded $3.45
All + or - 3 cents/gal.

Wow big difference from West-Central Wi.
I was in Tomah this weekend and filled up at a Kwik-Trip for $2.39/gal (87 octane). Meanwhile, in the burbs of Chi-raq it's $2.60 for 87.

Out here, we are Fooked.

Gas taxes and DMV fees jumped significantly last year with former governor Moonbeam's increase. Then when voters tried to overturn it with a referendum, the State doctored the ballot to fool people into voting to keep the tax.

Recently, this happened: https://www.fresnobee.com/opinion/editorials/article235929407.html

There is a recall effort currently underway. At least some folks are standing up to the current dictator.

Kwik Trip around here sets the market. Prairie du Chien (tourist destination) is always at least a nickel higher than Lancaster. Same in Platteville because of the college. Tomah has more competition because of I90/94, I would imagine that helps out?

Reckon you're right

$2.89 for 87, $3.19 for 89 & $3.49 for 93 octane. Our gas tax is 2nd highest in the country. It is supposed to go towards road and infrastucture improvement. Good luck trying to find any improvements on these roads. I'm just sayin'.
Yep, road improvements. 279 north camp Horne exit they spent 2 summers and millions of dollars to keep the dips before and after the bridge connectors south of the exit. Money well spent not smoothing a damn thing out.

between dmv fees and gas taxes out here the roads should be heavenly , BUT THERE FAR FROM THAT !
From a lot of other state that I've traveled to in the last 20 years while living there, to me your roads are pretty dam good. Albeit that some of the secondary highways are so packed now that they need to widen lots of them to relieve congestion but I've found lots of smooth pavement.

i do admit some are getting needed work . but the costs in this state for reg/lic fees for your vehicles is going up every year . and gas prices are among the highest in the usa . i have not ventured through to many state lately . i still would like a road surface to be better than they have been . here in san jose the bicycle lanes are going through everywhere , our major is a bicycle rider . he's push these on us , taking lanes from motor vehicles to give a through way for bikes . i ride a old 26'' cruz'r from the 70's . but these lanes are not making since . of course , i'm in the google buy up of the city . i'll get moved out . but its going to be costly for them to get me to move . but i'm already working out my plan for when this all comes down . and @stubs300 it just might be the end of california for me too .

Glad someone else see's the light and is working on getting out, I just hope you'll be able to afford it when the time comes to make it happen! They wanted $185 the year I left for a 25 YO vehicle, of course I didn't pay it and moved out with expired plates. I wonder what'd they'd rape me for it now? I now pay $65 and $15 for smog after my $5 GI Joe discount.

well , reg/ lic fees were 165 for a 61 d200 and 195 on my d300 well with weight fees . but they were 10% less last year and the year before that ect .... 102 for my 64 300k ,102 on my 63 sf , 126 for my 37 dodge p/u , ect.... and get this i just grabbed some gas for my 64 d100 hotrod driver at 4.559 per gal , 91oc union 76 . last week its was 4.499 . refinery fire ? just another reason to pork the public .

no our 91 has ethanol , up to 10% . it may go higher to 15% if the fuel companies get there way out here .
In Minnesota, we have 91 octane "Recreational Fuel" meant for collector vehicles, off road bikes, four wheelers, and it's a no ethanol blend, at a premium price over higher octane corn blend fuels.
