Welcome, snow

Picked one up from Montana, and only had 20 minutes of storm driving before pulling in the drive. We got the edge of the storm, 1 hr east got snow like the above pic. Alot of roads closed from central and east side of the state. A half hour west of us and roads are summertime clear.

No trace of snow here in the past three years. I may have finally got far enough south. Any further will be Florida or Texas. Not to fond of either.

Been lucky in Edmonton this fall. I have seen a few flakes here and there, but nothing that stuck. Last year was ten shades of suck, we had snow on the ground three separate time in September alone.

I'm always somewhat happy if we get all the leaves raked and bagged before we get snow. You know, seasons in the traditional order...

NOAA predicts snowier than usual winter for Minnesota, Wisconsin
It may be snowier than many people would like, but at least temperatures aren't predicted to be colder than normal.
