do you see what you need ?

Looking for a decent set of 440 plain jane factory stock valve covers.

They change every couple years or so. Might help narrow down whats available to say what you have? All 440's would be six-bolt style tho...

View attachment 324945is this the type covers ? or do you need the tube type breather ?
If those are the 6 hole 440 covers in this picture, those would be perfect. would like not to have anything, like wire loom brackets, etc. On them. those look perfect for my needs.
The ones in my picture, are the ones I fixed up to use on my 440 (claiming 413 for my 61 Chrysler) I need them with the less the better. I want them to look like these only with 6 holes instead of 4. Went to the troub

That style looks perfect to me.
These are the ones I fixed up to go on it, then found out the 4 hole 413 won't fit on the 6 hole 440 engines.
I'm claiming 413 as that was what would have been in my 61 Chrysler.

I screwed up and painted and put new decals on my 413 covers. Thought they all interchanged. Need ones for a 44o with 6 holes versus the 413 with 4 holes. This is what I did. Going to do the same with the 440 covers when I find some I can afford.

These are beautiful for sure. But you are right, you need something from '64 and later to get the six bolt style, and the earlier ones with be cleaner, like 64-66 and have very few if any brackets or add-ons tack welded on. Doesnt matter much what motor they are from, meaning any big block 383, 413, 426 or 440. Someone will surely have some laying around. HTH, Lefty71

i've got a couple 4 hole headed motors . one 59 rb 383 golden lion and a 60 413 imp engines . i've got the early long ram induction manifolds , plans are to run that setup on my rb 383 . i'll remove those moon breathers from those covers before i use them .

Nice!
I also wanted to run the crossrams. Bought a set of tubes, then decided to go with a sixpack set up and sold the ram tubes.
Sent my six pack air cleaner lid to an airbrush artist in Louisiana He is going to airbrush that lion onto the lid in color and a little larger as my printer couldn't make it any bigger.
The lip around the top will have CHRYSLER GOLDEN LION and around the bottom 413 SIX PACK. it will be in red lettering the same color as the red on the valve cover decals.
Can't wait to see it done!

i've got two pans , the first one is more beat up than the other , looks like the first one was in an a body , pics 1 2 3 from the ding in the relieved side of the pan for the idler arm . and the second pan 4 5 6 and covers are from a 70 nyr so is the bare pan . this uses the push on breather , does it matter ?
