Has anybody got any idea where I can get New front Brake Discs (mines got new Budd 4 piston Brakes) for my 67 Monaco Wagon? Part numbers would be helpful too as they were quite a rare factory upgrade from new. Possibly same as ones they fitted to later models...
Many thanks as always!

I unfortunately can't help. I know if you find any you will pay a mint for them.

If you plan on keeping the car and putting some miles on it, you might be ahead of the game by converting them to a later set up.

Keep in mind the Imperial Budd rotors are the same dimensions, but use a 5 x 5" bolt pattern. Ours use 4.5 x 5...
The bolt pattern is with the HUB, not the rotor.
The old hub gets installed onto the new rotor.
The op is inquiring about a "C" body car anyway.
EDIT.
I reread the description on that vendors ad.
You have now got me questioning what does that rotor fit, with differences between the bolt patterns.
4 1/2 inch or 5 inch.
The rotor would have to be drilled for the bolt pattern for the hub to fit.
Would need to really find out from that vendor what bolt pattern that new rotor is drilled out for.

I'm gonna e mail that vendor, and ask him what the wheel bolt hole pattern really is.

The vendor replied to me very quickly.
This is his reply to me.

4.375” is bolt pattern. It should fit 66-69 imperials and c bodies with budd 4 piston calipers. I have sold about 200 of these rotors

Well, bolt pattern for 4 1/2 inch is. 4.500, and 5 inch is 5.000
I don't know what the heck he's selling then.

If that vendors rotor is drilled out for a 5 inch wheel bolt pattern, it could easily be re drilled out to 4 1/2 bolt pattern, at any competent machine shop.
But it looks close if it's a 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern rotor, then is there enough room to drill to a 5 inch bolt pattern.

are you saying my 67 imp rotors will fit my 67 c body hubs ?
If your referring to me, i didn't say that.
I would be thinking there would have to be one rotor for the "C" body cars, with a 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern, and another rotor for the 5 inch bolt pattern Imperials.
Then they do not switch over from one body style to another.
Guess more official research, and homework, needs to be done for official fitment.

I’ve bought 2 sets of these rotors for my Imps and I think they’re the only game in town for aftermarket replacements and it’s safe to say that the rotors themselves will work with either hub.

Ok, then his rotors are drilled for 5 inch bolt pattern.
Then in my eyes they would have to be re-drilled to 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern to work on 65-68 "C" body cars, for the "HUB" to accurately align with the holes in the rotor.
Would you agree or disagree with that?

i've got both imp's and ply c's budd disc's , spindle out . but just grabbed a 72 fury disc brake assemblies spindle out with everything else for my change over , master w/booster lines n hoses . for my 67 300 rag , its drums now . and i needed to fit it to a mag rim , the 11.75's with caliper rubs the rim band , this smaller sized rotor that fits a 14'' rim , fits with just a 3/16 of clearance . and it not a all day long racer , so it shouldn't run out of wow power .

I would disagree. The lugnut studs are pressed into the hub which is then bolted to the rotor so the rotor is universal for the Budd system.

Wow, holy s#*t, i think your right about that, and stand corrected, on the attachment of a hub onto a rotor.

I have some shot Imperial rotors out in the garage with the hubs on them, buried deep in a corner pile of junk, that would take some time to get to, in moving everything around.
I have to look at them, to put my curiosity to end in regards to this subject.

Then the vendors rotors do work on Imp's and C bodies.

I have found them outside of ebay. However they were well over $300 each' 350 if i remember correctly. These are at least worth a shot of you want to stay stock.

very cool , parts interchange , chrysler did that through out the years . even with body parts between models and divisions . my 67 chrysler 300 has a 67 dodge polara cowl on it , hoods are totally different , but the ribbs running up the the cowl are the same . we already know doors and roofs and floors cross between models and divisions . and of course the engine trans went corp motors in 58 . so shared parts are nothing new under this sun .

I have them NEW --- the BRAKE ROTORS --- and as some people have conjectured here already -- they cost what they have to cost --- $ 350 each = $ 700 / for the pair....
And, they ARE heavy -- so if they have to be mailed to Scotland, I am positive that won't be cheap, either...
If you want to know what shipping would be, list your address, and I will swing by the post office and find out......
Yours, Craig......
