Front End Kit/Lower Ball Joints 67 Monaco Wagon?

The " C " Body with Disc (1967 - 1968) Lower Ball Joints are sadly R & R -- only --- (as in rebuild and return)
One of the front end outfits in California opens them up --- puts in New balls and sockets --- and closes them back up....
They have NO "Cores" however; yours or somebody's units would have to be rebuilt....
The drum brake ones DO NOT fit --- they do not go
"around" the 4 - piston caliper......
Yours, Craig.

Thank you, that’s very helpful indeed.
We managed to get top ones here in the uk for a very reasonable £70 the pair & managed to save the current lower ones as there is no play at all thankfully when inspected properly. One rubber boot was replaced with one we found fitted from the Drum type lower ball joint & both joints cleaned & re-greased. Driving like a dream now (as well as a 52 year old C body can I reckon anyway!!) New KYB performance spec shocks all round and perished front bushings replaced from Rock Auto have transformed it too.

The Imperial Club was supposed to have had DuraBrake do a run of these rotors.

One of their members has a procedure to make a Toyota Supra rotor work.

WOW!!! That’s AMAZING! I’m going to see if we can do this as my Polish mechanic friend is very clever at adapting and making stuff for my car.
Thank you - it’s useful interchange information like this that helps keep us C Body fanatics rolling!

We went to the vintage rally at Sunderland Hall near Selkirk and The Wheels and Wings Show at The National Museum of Flight before we left.
There was a red 70 Fury in the parking lot there. Not sure why it wasn't in the show.

Had a great time and hope to return soon.

Kevin

What an amazing coincidence!!
The Museum of Flight is just up the road from us and We were commissioned to distill & brand a special edition ‘Fortune Favours the Bold’ Gin and ‘R34 Brandy’ (Airship 1st transatlantic crossing & return 100th Anniversary!!
And... My very small bar ‘RUTHERFORDS Micropub’ is very near Selkirk where you were in Kelso!

I think I saw that red Fury once up in Fife years ago & it looked very nice indeed, long before I bought mine.

If you’re over next year would be great to see you at our:
Kelso Classic American Car Show
We started this year and it was a huge success & will be growing it for the next one in 2020 - just negotiating with the local authorities about dates & increasing the area etc.

Best Regards from over the seas,
Simon
