Was the '69 Polara an ex-squad? More info or pictures please.
Andy bought that spaceship because he couldn’t afford a cool reliable classic or modern convertible. He’s into this stuff as much as we are and is the salt of the earth. We tease him about that crazy thing also Lol!!! Andy’s wife was using my jacked up phone to film me driving so that’s why the movies were so bad. We just couldn’t text 1 minute plus over the airwaves. Sprint sucks Lol !!!Sorry I may have made comments about your friends and their annoying choice of vehicle in another thread, I did not realize they were with you.
Now this thread there’s plenty to love! Any other pics or details on the double burnt orange Challenger convertible?
Detectives car I believe. It’s a rerun I think the last show or so I posted a ton of it that’s why I only snapped one. Trying to get new stuff !!! At least I got Per Blixt’s 1958 300D fuelie w the hood down this year Lol!!! I told him that and he said well hurry up I’m about to open the hood. He’s a cool cat.Was the '69 Polara an ex-squad? And I'm sure with gas at $4+ a gal. a lot more people stayed home too!this years event was a bit small. With all the mayhem going on in the surrounding areas it was amazing so many still showed up.
I think it was more the fires than price of gas. There’s pretty much two classes of us out here mine where We don’t have a car payment so we don’t give a $&@% how much gas costs we’re drivin our stuff dang it !!! And the hobby guys who only go to cruises and shows so the fuel is a part time expense. The fires killed the show this year. Only about 10 people made the cruise I skipped it because of the fires. We just couldn’t get thru. The kid parked next to me isn’t rich and his 72 cuda w a TA motor 3x2 bbl gets about 90 miles per TANK !!! I asked him about fuel cost and he said he works harder to make more $$$$ and finds stuff to cut out of his life to make it work out. Sucks the kids are put into that situation because of fuel but I told him I was paying $1.38 a gallon for premium in ‘83 on 5 bucks an hour try that on for size. My AAR got 6mpg about the same 90 miles per tank w 3.91 gears. And I'm sure with gas at $4+ a gal. a lot more people stayed home too!
That car is an original Black and White CHP car.Was the '69 Polara an ex-squad? More info or pictures please.

Nice pictures, I won't ask you to give me more information about any certain ones. I'll just enjoy, I'm sure that was your intentions after all
If you ever see that vert again, get a pic of the vin and or fender tag please?Seriously ask away. If I know I’ll tell.
I talk to a lot of the owners as it’s a static show so after a while it gets boring to just sit behind your car. The Fall Fling is a super laid back show n shine - it’s the spring fling that’s is the judged show. Doesn’t really matter to me though as I drive my trophy home after every show.
Ha!! I'm in two of your pictures! We were very close to each other.
In the one of the rear of the 300D, I'm the guy in the red-white-and blue Mopar shirt. My son is in front of me with the green 2018 Shirt and a hat.
We walked with some friends from Bakersfield. We were struck with the small crowd of cars, as well as the lack of vendors that are usually there. No dealership presence at all.
I did find a radiator shroud though! The guy selling it said it was fro a 318 E Body. When I told him otherwise, based on the part number, the guy sitting next to him was angry. He said, "I paid $150 for a repop and you had that in the trunk of your E Body???"
