I don’t ever remember seeing these.

Edit to add something YouTube offered as a suggestion- a channel called Low End Mopar. Mostly 80s and 90s Mopars.

My uncle had one of these that would talk to you if you left a door open, etc

The ad for the Acclaim Objectifies men and portrays them as sex objects! How terrible!!!:rofl::rofl:

I must not have watched much tv back then because I don't remember any of them. On a side note, Tina still had a rocking set of legs!

Lots of quick innovation in a very short time for Chrysler to stay alive. FWD,fuel injection ,throttlebody injection, emissions ,computers, turbos, crash standards and on and on. A sad but exciting time all rolled into one.

So true. Even the 1991 Spirit R/T with its Lotus influences under the hood made for a quick little 4 door.
I’ve been told these cars even have clubs dedicated to the preservation of them.

Actually owned a 1981 Plymouth Reliant 2 door SE with the stick. It proved to be a really fun car to drive, I just wish the dealership had made the experience a pleasure.

I have only bought 2 new cars in my life. Both Chryslers. I bought a 1986 Omni Glh turbo. It was only one in the area for sale. Out of the factory it had a dent from the inside out that happened during assembly and it didnt have the correct side skirts as they only said GLH not GLH Turbo. I told the dealership about both things . They said those were the correct skirts and they would do nothing about the dent. I had to fight tooth and nail trying to explain to them those were not the correct skirts and the dent (small) I could live with with a lower price. At my insistence they found the correct skirts and said "look what we found!" All in all a lousey experience with a bunch of idiots.

I guess they were the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. American auto companies took customers for granted?

Very familiar with that video. BigBarneycars had work done by him on his scamp.
