I wouldn’t hesitate to ship these FedEx, they aren’t that heavy you effing snowflakes.
Heck I shipped a third member to Rip conventionally and I don’t think it was more than 50 bucks.

They're 56 #'s according to what's written on the one, so figure 60# to play it safe.

I don't know where the heck that you came up with that low ball figure, to send two packages of brake drums, from California, to PA, by the FEDEX people.
It's substantially lots more than that, when i click on their shipping, get rates, page.
And i use their shipping quote page, all the time in getting prices to send out parts to buyers of my parts.
And i use FEDEX as the shipping carrier, as their local terminal, here in my city is a direct shot down the street from me, where i live, easy to get to, and all that i have to do is back my car up to the sidewalk, open the trunk of the car, and the sliding doors to the building open up, and I'm inside.

And to this cantflip character.
You know nothing about me, and when you have to put your 2 cents BS into an ad of mine or a reply of mine, why don't you just keep your fingers off the keyboard and keep your mouth shut?
You got something to say to me, do it in a pm.
You guys are lucky that I'm still trying to liquidate parts that i accumulated, saved, hoarded, scrounged, rat holed, since the early 1980's when the Pick-n-Pull wrecking yards came into existence out here in Northern California.
Since a last medical diagnosis, back in April of this year, i am no longer able to do many things that were normal to do in the past.
Due to heart issues, i am on lifting restrictions, weight lifting restrictions, exercise restrictions, what i can and cannot do, since old age has bit me in the ***.
So that's one of the reasons that i am not going to keep moving, lugging, heavy items around any longer.
Should have gotten around to getting rid of this "C" body s#*t of mine decades ago.
And i have stuff that I'm sure people would like to get from me, if i advertise the stuff for sale.
And if a certain person or two that irritates the heck out of me, I'm going to rethink the whole process about trying to sell parts if people criticize, or just gotta put their two cents into everything.

I got it right off the FedEx page. I put in 60#'s from rancho cordova ca to somewhere in Pittsburgh pa

Frankly, if I was purchasing them I would be the one shopping for the shipping not you. Then just email you the label. That way I'd is get the fairest deal and feel a lot better if the item turned out to be scrap, then I could say "at least he didn't **** me on the shipping"

I logged on to the shipping service I use, plugged in the numbers and got $45 through FedEx. That’s boxed up with a label already on it.

The quote I got was on the FedEx site. You must be using a third party broker. Not that theirs anything wrong with that... I know you ship a lot of parts also good deal!

Why are we even bothering with this..

I don't know where you guys are coming up, getting those figures.
When i get onto the FEDEX page i get a figure of $67.00 to send a 30 pound package of parts to a Pittsburgh, PA,. zip code, from my zip code.
And from my end of things i haven't been wrong in the past, from my end, quoting shipping, using that FEDEX site, so i don't know, what the heck is showing up on your page.
So don't worry guys, I'm sure old Sluggo isn't going to be buying brake drums from me, as he has read my mails back to him, and he hasn't replied back to me.

Good question.
sluggo's posting has already been muddied up to no end, and gone off the railroad track, long ago.

I’m just trying to be helpful with each post.
I’ve probably shipped close to 100 packages this year.
Parcel Monkey

Haven't a clew what that "Parcel Monkey" page is all about.
I have to use the official FEDEX, get a shipping quote page, when i look things up, and that's what i have to go by, when i stop off at the local terminal, here in my city.
And if i don't, i don't want to be surprised when getting to the terminal, in giving out an underestimated shipping quote, to a buyer.
Then i'm not going to taking it in the shorts by giving an underestimated shipping quote.

I box my parts up here at the shop and use that site to pay for and print my labels and then drop them off on my way home. My price above was not a quote, it was the cost of the label for shipping a 14” x 14” x 10” box weighs 60 pounds from Rancho Cordova California to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with no added insurance.

I'm just a regular Joe Blow, customer with the FEDEX people, and not a big shipper like Summit, Jegs, that get corporate discounts with the shipping companies.
I, and every civilian regular customer, pays the price for what the shipping companies give to the volume customers.
As i stated earlier in another reply, i no longer can lift anything over 35 pounds, due to medical issues.
Hence two packages of parts from point A, to point B.

I figured out what you did.
You assumed, incorrectly, that two heavy, brake drums were going to be packaged up in one big box.
Not so.
My intentions are (were) to put one drum in one box, then the other drum in a second box.
Figuring each box would be in the 30-31 pound range.
Arthritis, gout, muscle, nerve, issues, in fingers, hand, arm, legs.
Don't get old.
I can't lift a box weighing 60 pounds anymore in my old age, even with the medical weight lifting restrictions the medical doctors have now given me.

As a buyer, details like that can influence my decision on a sale or not. It certainly clarifies the difference in price in these examples.

I used to have a FedEx account but I don’t even use it anymore since finding parcel monkey.

Wow that's a good price Matt. I just shipped a 20# 22x18x12 box to Florida for $100CDN through UPS couldn't find a Fedex close by.

Sorry everybody, I was travelling for work and could not get to personal stuff. I did find some drums in Western PA, I went and picked them up. I want to say thank you to all who have helped. Also, I found out that Murray Park has them.
