Nice condition.

I would pass just because of the ATC II.

I like these NYBs but this isn't the first time I am hearing stay away from the ATC II system. Did they offer manual AC controls for these cars? If so, pretty rare huh? Practically every formal I have seen for sale lately has ATC II. (super frustrating)

Yes, manual offered in them too.

About half of the cars are manual and the other half have ATC II.

A lot of the coupe's have ATC II.

Another problem with just 1978 Formal's is the wipers don't work because Mopar went with a different wiper cam that has inferior plastic that is almost guaranteed to fail. The only real repair is modifying it to the 74-77 small wiper cam with a little cutting and welding of donor parts.
There are several threads on FCBO documenting the wiper cam problem and fix.

If I was willing to cough up 12-14 grand, I would keep looking for the same thing but in sexier clothes.
And w/o ATC II.

Not sure how B-body parts can work
Bob's method is tried and true and not hard to do.

I reviewed Bob's method and agree that it is a solid fix, If you can weld and have access to those parts. I considered it for my repair. Knowing of the rumors concerning the B parts working, I decided to try it since I have those parts in my collection.

I'm wondering- have you seen this? :
