@saforwardlook and I just got this car. AFAIK, it is the only sunroof Newport known to still exist.

It was listed for sale overnight earlier this week, and I was lucky enough to be able to pounce on it. Many, many thanks to the folks who knew that I was on to the car and stayed mum till it was bagged and safe.

It is a rare car, with a fantastic option combination: FQ5 turquoise exterior, white buckets and vinyl top, 383-4 (N-code) and... a factory (ASC) sunroof. Note the G-code VON. I can't thank @detmatt enough for his help: he went way above and beyond, going to inspect the car in bitter cold and snow (like @Big_John did last winter for an EB7 Polara that I ended up not buying, and @'69FuryIIIConvertible did in February for Medina), sending me tons of detailed pictures that showed the car's condition, checking that the numbers matched, and helping with temporary storage until the car leaves for California.

Attached are some photos from the CL ad, as well as a picture on the truck at Matt's shop (thanks to @71Polara383 for the flat bedding recommendation). The seller was top-notch: super honest, a pleasure to deal with.

Enjoy!

If I wasn’t having so much fun with my 64 right now I would offer to go out there and mess with it for a nominal fee.
I asked where the Chris Craft was but I guess it’s long gone. I would restore this car in such a way that this sticker could stay.

If it had power windows I might hold it hostage indefinitely.:poke:

You can take a detailed digital picture of it with something to scale by and have a new one printed just FYI in case you run across something you want to reproduce

I just noticed the cranks, I'm not much of a code's guy. Interesting that with all of the options ticked off, including the expensive sunroof, they didn't opt for power windows. It appears to have just about everything else!
